I will always love Elvis Aron Presley

 Elvis Aron Presley was born on January 8 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, USA. He had a twin brother named Jesse Garon, but he was born dead. The parents of Elvis were poor. They didn´t even have enough money to make pictures of him.

The first picture of him was made when he was 2 years old. When Elvis was 10 years old he went to a talent contest. There he sang a song named "Old Shep". But he only won the second prize. To his 11th birthday his parents gave him a guitar, even though he wanted a gun or a bike.

In the year 1948 Elvis sang in front of his class a song named "Leaf on a tree". In the same year his parents moved with him to Memphis, Tennessee. On July 3 1953 Elvis graduated from Humes High School in Memphis.

In the same year Elvis went to Sun Studios in Memphis and made a record there for 4 $. He recorded the songs "My happiness" and "That´s when your heartaches begin". In summer 1954 the owner of Sun Studios, Sam Phillips wanted Elvis to come to him to record a few songs. Elvis sang a song named "Without you", but Sam Phillips didn´t like it. So he let Elvis record "That´s alright mama" together with Scotty Moore and Bill Black.

On October 16 1954 Elvis had his first appearance with Scotty & Bill. He appeared on the radio show Louisiana Hayride. In Januar 1955 Elvis signed a contract with Bob Neal, who was his manager from then on. On August 15 1955 Elvis signed a contract with Colonel Tom Parker, who was his manager from then on to the rest of his life. On November 20 1955 Elvis signed a contract with RCA Records. On January 27 1956 Elvis released 2 songs for what he became his first Gold Record. The songs are called "Heartbreak hotel" and "I was the one". On April 6 1956 Elvis signed a 7 year long contract with Paramount Pictures in Hollywood.

In August 1956 the shooting for Elvis´ first movie in which he was as actor began. The film first was called "The Reno Brothers" but then was called "Love Me Tender" because the song was selled so good.

 In January 1957 the shooting for his second movie "Loving You" began. It was the first movie in which Elvis played in, that was made in color.

 In May 1957 the shooting for his third movie, "Jailhouse Rock" began. The titlesong was Elvis´ favorite song from all movies he played in. But this movie was made in black & white.

In the start of the year 1958 the shooting to the movie "King Creole" was started. The movie "King Creole" was Elvis´ favorite movie from all movies he played in. This movie was made in black & white, too.

Shortly after that Elvis had to go to the army. In this time his mother got sick. On August 14 1958 his mother died of hepatitis. She was only 46 years old. A short time later Elvis had to go to germany because of the army. There he was in Friedberg. At that time he lived in a little house in Bad Nauheim.

In November 1959 Elvis met his future wife, Priscilla Ann Beaulieu. She was only 14 at that time. He was 10 years older than her. In March 1960 Elvis could go back to USA. At the end of march 1960 Elvis appeared in a show of Frank Sinatra, that was called "Welcome Home, Elvis".

In April 1960 the shooting to his next movie was started, "G I Blues". On July 3 1960 Elvis´ father, Vernon Elvis Presley married again. In August 1960 his sixt movie was made, "Flaming Star". In November of the same year "Wild In The Country" was made.

 In March 1961 the next movie was already made, "Blue Hawaii". In the same year the movies "Kid Galahad" and "Follow That Dream" were made. In the year 1962 the following movies were made:

"Girls! Girls! Girls" and "It Happened At The World´s Fair". In the year 1963 Elvis´ played in this movies: "Fun In Acapulco", "Viva Las Vegas" and "Kissin´ Cousins". In the year 1964 three other movies were made: "Roustabout", "Girl Happy" and "Tickle Me".

In the year 1965 the movies "Harum Scarum", "Frankie and Johnny" and "Paradise, Hawaiian Style" were made. In the next year the movies "Spinout", "Double Trouble" and "Easy Come, Easy Go" were made. In the year 1967 he played in three other movies: "Clambake", "Speedway" and "Stay Away, Joe".

On May 1 1967 Elvis and Priscilla married in Las Vegas, in the hotel Aladdin.

On February 1 1968 Elvis and Priscilla´s daughter Lisa Marie was born. In June 1968 Elvis had his comeback as a singer. In the year 1968 the movies "Live A Little, Love A Little", "Charro!" and "The Trouble With Girls (And How To Get Into It)" were made. In the year 1969 the last movie he played in as an actor was made: "Change Of Habit".  Soon after that, still in the same year, Elvis had real concerts again.

Elvis recorded new songs again nd had concerts a few times every year. In the year 1970 a documentation about his 6 concerts in Las Vegas was made. It was called "Elvis - That´s The Way It Is".

On January16 1971 Elvis got  an award as one of "The Ten Outstanding Young Men America´s".

On January 4 1973 Elvis had a concert in Hawaii that people could see over satelit in over 30 coutries. It was called "Aloha From Hawaii". On October 9 1973 Elvis and Priscilla got divorced. But Elvis saw his daughter regularly. After Priscilla left Elvis, he had two girlfriends, Linda Thompson and Ginger Alden.

On June 26 1977 Elvis had his last concert in Indianapolis. On August 16 1977 Elvis died because of  heart attack. A few hours before he died he still saw his daughter. She had visited him that night. And his girlfriend Ginger was in Graceland that night, too. Elvis was only 42 years old when he died.

But now he is in a better world, in heaven.
